Description
Stabilized Temperature Platform Furnace or STPF for short, can be done using these Buck platform graphite tubes.
The platform tube allows the analyte to be heated more evenly with a more stable temperature due to the fact that these low boiling point metals are heated after the tube has been heated and they receive an even 360 degrees of radiation. With the graphite tube already heated retention time is increased, inside the graphite tube, giving the instrument slightly better sensitivity. These platform tubes are popular with chemists looking for Arsenic, Se, Pb, Cd.
